Why do we need GitHub? Is it necessary to learn Git to Developer?
Hello World, I am Ravindra WordPress Developer and IoT Enthusiast. First, we have to know What is Git and GitHub.
Git is the version control system, it helps to manage the projects and their code. GitHub is responsible for the Source Code Management functionality of Git.
Like GitHub, there are lots of SCM(Source Code Management) tools, another popular one is Bitbucket.
As we know that GitHub is an SCM tool for code Management. While we are working on some projects then we need to share code with our friends but we also want to what changes have done by our friends.
So, to trace those commits we have to use some system which shows us about the changes in projects by our friends who are collaborating.
And last things, if we want to become Developer and work remotely, then need to collaborate with our project partners, so a developer must need to learn Git.
